GOOD morning! I’m delighted to say that I’m coming at you today in better spirits than I was in earlier this week. In no small part because of the really kind responses I got after sending Wednesday’s email. I could cry! But I won’t :)
This week was very busy with a lot of driving, a couple of long work days, and an all day event that had me on my feet yesterday. I got home most nights and just sat on the couch playing my stupid coloring game on my phone before going to bed. But! A few fun things kept me going this week:
1.
Walking to the beach after a late day at work, catching the solstice sunset, and then getting ice cream for dinner.
2.
Tuning into a recap of the Las Culturistas Culture Awards to learn which Finalists became winners on the biggest night in culture. Justice for Pisces humans who lost to shrimp in the category of Most Vulnerable Prey.
2.5
Related: Best Gay Guy - Somewhere in Between winner Pat Regan, whom I have a parasocial relationship with, just announced that he’s writing a book and I CANNOT WAIT.
3.
Getting an Indian food family meal delivered and eating it for dinner over the course of three nights.
4.
Blasting a new playlist I started with ’90s/2000s lady in a movie vibes while driving back and forth between downtown and Santa Monica.
5.
Scrolling through countless submarine memes on Tik Tok… I can’t say any more or else I’ll get in trouble. But as my friend Emily said, “People should know better than to mess with the real Titanic.”
6.
Taking a bath!! With the lights off but with candles burning. So drama.
7.
Wondering if I can pull off silver pants (yes) and if I should buy these (undecided but yes).
8.
Eating big slices of a strawberry summer cake I made last week. One of my favorite things to bake!
I thought I’d be exhausted today but instead I feel energized. This morning I sat outside drinking coffee and catching up on the phone with my friend Katie who inspired me to get some rainbow carrots at the farmers market. And I made some breakfast tacos. Then later this afternoon I’m going to “play” tennis for the first time since middle school lol. Happy Sunday!!
Love!
Erin
